2006 South Dakota Athletic Trainers Association, Annual Meeting and Symposia

CALL FOR PRESENTERS

Theme: “Current and Best Practices in Athletic Training – Service and Education”

Location: Brookings, South Dakota

Date: 13&14 July 2006, with presentations being held on Friday, July 14, 2006

Proposals Due: 31 May 2006

As a practicing ATC, you are invited to present at the 2006 South Dakota Athletic Trainers Association, Annual Meeting and Symposia. The goals of the symposia are to (1) provide an opportunity to Athletic Trainer to meet and discuss issues and practices relevant to the profession and (2) promote interaction and collegiality between Athletic Trainers in the state of South Dakota.

The purpose of this “Call for Presenters” is to provide an opportunity for Athletic Trainers in the state of South Dakota who are currently practicing with patients and/or educating students to share their knowledge and expertise with their peers. There are several Benefits to the Presenter including:

(2) Sharing your knowledge and expertise with others in the profession of Athletic Training.

(3) Achieving recognition as an expert in the field of Athletic Training.

(4) Waived Registration Fee

Please consider offering your expertise as a presenter at the meeting. Proposals are due May 31, 2006. You will find two documents attached to this notice – a Call for Presenters Overview and a Call for Presenters Proposal Form.
